Default Oil Change

I am due for an oil change and am going to stitch to royal puple. I have done a few searches on the internet looking for a good price and about the best I could find for 5W20 synthetic was $7 a quart. Hell, even if I buy 5 gallons I am still liiking at a $7 a quart rate. Does anyone know where I might find a cheaper price? I also found there were a few different varieties of the RP. Which should I be looking at:
http://www.amazon.com/Royal-Purple-S...8869319&sr=1-1
http://www.amazon.com/Royal-Purple-0...8869319&sr=1-2
http://www.amazon.com/Royal-Purple-E...8869319&sr=1-6

Those were posted in no particular order. The first two are about $7 a quart and the last one is about $13 a quart. Suggestions please.

Jusr remember you'll need 7qts for an oil change for that Hemi!

$7 per qt regardless. Even if you get bulk packs or singles. I have priced it out already
That last one is not what you need, it appears to be a racing blend or something?

I was pretty certain I was not needing that one but I was dumbfounfed that it wa $7 a quart, even buying a 5 gallon jug still $7 a quart. I guess I will look into shipping cost and see which one is going to be cheaper. Since my truck is my daily driver now and I put about $400 miles a week now oil is somehting I am looking into the best for the buck. There was a comparison a couple years ago and rp won hands down. Since then I have been "planning" on switching. Now it's time to get off my duff and make the change.

i used RP a few times but switched back to mobil 1. RP seemed to break down quicker than mobil 1. i usually do oil changed every 5000-7500 miles. I did a 5k change with rp and a 7500 change with mobil 1,The RP came out with the consistency of water and the mobil 1 came out just as it went in. Just my experience. dont take it as me bashing RP it, is a great product.

I've used Amsoil for the last few years...and i LOVE it! I get about 10k for 1 change...and you can but a kit (I think its $10) and you can mail an oil sample into them and they will give you a run down on your engine based on that...and even tell you if you can go beyond your 10k mark...

I recommend it...along with their oil filter...I ahve the hookup on this...so if your interested let me know. I can give you my guys contact information...

how does RP compare to something like amsoil? Just curious...has anyone even done a comparison? I know one bad thing about amsoil is the fact that you can't buy it anywhere...just curious if someone had a comparison of the two.

I'm due for an oil change and just bought Valvo Max Life - Syn Blend. It was cheaper than a full syn, but a little more than dino. I figured the blend would provide some benefit, but I've never been sold on running a full synthetic, especially at the cost. Anyone have any reasons why you wouldn't run a blend over dino?
