Default All season tire recommendations

Alright,

I drive a 04 ram 1500, 4x2 quad cab. It has 245/70r17 on it. I want to up it to 265/70R17. Im in toronto so I would see every condition on the road. Looking to spend up to $800.00. Any ideas. Im looking at the the Bridgestone Dueler H/L alenza or Goodyear fortera tripletred. Any advice would be good.
Thanks

Bridgestone Dueler AT REVO is an excellent tire that I've had great luck with...stuck with the factory tires right now until I can replace them. I've had the REVO's on my other 4x4's and loved them.

I personally run Toyo Open Country A/Ts and live in North Dakota. Ive had em on my last several trucks and like you, see all kinds of weather/road conditions. Great all around decent tire IMO

i will second the toyo at's they are a great tire. great in the rain. havent had snow here in new england yet but i know they will perform better than the crappy stock goodyear hp's. after the toyo at's wear down im going to go for a more aggressive tire though. i thought the at's would look aggressive on my truck but they dont really give it the edge i wanted.

Check out General grabber HTS. Rated #1 in consumer reports. I have them on my truck and have no complaints so far. Great ride, good price.
