well all cali has is emissions laws, so im guessing as long as you dont straight pipe it, it should be ok? dunno if its illegal to just have the stacks tho...

As long as you keep all of your emmissions equipment I think it will be fine. You would have to keep a muffler as well.

I cant say for a personal vehicle but for 18 wheelers, a few years back i remember they made semis dump the exhaust in front of the drive wheels. Dunno if any of that changed or not, its been a long time since ive been out there. I try not to keep up with crazy cali laws!

well, i dunno if they are legal or not.... but i see A LOT of people with them here in CA. i really dont see it as any different that having a dual exhaust setup, just coming out a different spot. dont quote me but i think in CA as long as you leave the CATS alone and have some sort of muffler you should be ok.

If you do I'm pretty sure they have to have cat converters in them. They are making all trucks (big trucks) have them in the next year or so. We are having to retro all of the 900 trucks in our fleet at work.
