Default HID Head Lights Istalled!!

Installed the xenon depot 4300K H13 9008 HID conversion kit in my truck today. AWESOME!!!!

If I had a clue how much an improvement they were going to make, this would have been the first mod I would have made.

Nuff said.

Did that set upgrade the fog lights and the headights? How much work was it to get it installed?

Now you can blind everyone in the other direction with those stock housings that scatter the light like crazy!

I paid less than $200, the kits that fit my truck are marked down right now from $500.00.

This kit had all the components included in a new wiring harness. If I had taken a look I would have installed it myself and saved the labor charge.

All he did was hook one + and two - wires to the
battery, then just plug everything else in. It just looked complicated because you get a complete
system for both lights in case one should go out
the other will not be affected.

I was concerned myself about blinding oncoming traffic, but driving around last night
not one car out of several hundred, 'flashed' me
from oncoming traffic.

Did you at least re-aim them? HID is much brighter and what was acceptable "overlap" with the stock bulbs is killing people!

Ideally you should convert to projectors first, then HIDs, so everyone benefits from your better vision.

This kit was for the headlights only. At this time, I don't
think I need the fog light HID kit, but will wait and see.

Where I live it is very rare that I have ever needed fog lights, and have always just pulled way off the road in those conditions anyway. (Didn't want to get hit by the other guy!)
