Thumbs down Chevy Truck adds on Dodge Forum?? WTF?

Can anyone explane why we have Chevy truck adds on Dodge Ram Forum? I understand the need for money, but talk about selling out to da MAN. I'll bet whoever pays for the chevy adds is laughing there asses of knowing their trucks are splattered all over a dodge RAM website. Ild also like to bet if someone called Dodge they would want thier adds on a DODGE RAM FORUM WEBSITE WHERE THE PEOPLE LOVE THEIR TRUCKS AND ARE BRAND LOYAL!!! Just my opinion.

I am sure the dodgeforums have no control over the individual advertisements.

Has anyone seen a Dodge add on this forum? Or a Dodge add on the chevy and ford forums?

Yes, Yes, & Yes.

Most of the times google & other search engines pay the forums to advertise whatever they want on the site. Most of them pay per click...click on some off the ads so they can get paid...

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE click on the adds! Who knows this might end up as the richest forum on the web and then we won't have to see adds for 'F'ing Chevy's anymore!!!!

Yep they are google ads listed randomly by keywords. If you notice, they usually have something to do with the thread topic if a keyword is listed.
I usually get more Ford ads than Chevy.
Of course, if you want to foot the bill to keep this site alive, then we can get rid of all of the ads!

It's all on what's indexed. So if a certain Chevy ad is about better fuel mileage than Dodge, if we talk about mpgs, it will bring that up. It's also like how Extreme Home Makeover at the end might say something about it, then go to abc.com, and enter in Home as the keyword, well that's how it is on here. That searches for Home, and it searches the ads for miles, or whatever. I've seen Dodge ads, but Chevy ads are indexed higher on the sites.
