How much is my 2003 Dodge Ram 2500 Worth?
I am selling a dodge ram 2500 for a friend. It has been on ebay for a while. I have been getting a bunch of low-ball offers like $4,000 and today i got an offer for $7,500. Is this too low? The owner wants $9,500 NO LOWER.

I gave you the benefit and said $7K-8K, but I doubt he'll get $9500 if its not 4x4. Not to sound offensive, but think of it this way - 83K miles, 6 model years old, 2wd...that equates to a dime-a-dozen truck, no matter what he's added on to it.
Just for the heck of it, I did an autotrader search, and I only found 1 in my area. It was an '04 w/44K miles, included a utility truck cap, and was $10,900. So I stand by my guess, since this is newer, has 1/2 the miles, and included a $4K cap to boot!

In your ebay add I wouldn't mention you are selling it for a friend! People are already skeptical about buying and/or spending that much money online! And if they think they are dealing with the owner you are more likely to get more decent offers! You can contact your friend for answers from potential buyers before you have to respond to any emails you get!

If you wanted 9.5, you should have listed for 11-12 w/ best offer. Never put a "best offer" if your not willing to neg like you have done. Honestly if your buddy wants to get rid of it, I would take 7.5, but for his sake counter offer 8000 back to the guy and see what happens. Oh btw, tell your friend to get his own ebay account.
Good luck
