Question Is This Something I Can Do?

So a couple of months ago I ended up getting a reciever hitch through my front bumper. I'm not gonna go into details because it just stirs me up again. Anyway, I have to get a whole new front bumper since it's all one piece. My truck is an 08 Sport. I don't think getting the part will be a problem, but I was thinking that maybe I can get away with not paying for labor if I can put it on myself. I've heard that it's only six bolts, but I'm not sure. Is this something that the average guy can handle or should I just leave it to the professionals? Thanks.

Good stuff. Glad to know that I'll be able to save on the labor. The extra set of hands shouldn't be a problem now that me and my buds are out of college for the holidays. I'll go and place the order here in a day or two. Thanks guys! You probably just saved me some money.

If I can do it partner, anyone can. I replaced the bumper on my ford with a tubular, not a problem. My old blazer, I replaced the front bumper/grill, no problem. Just basic tools and an extra set of hands, as said. Just make sure its "lined up" correctly before you wrench it down completely...

You may want to see if anyone you know has an impact wrench or gun. If not get a long breaker bar.

I'm guessing just to break the nuts/bolts loose when removing your old one.
