Default Quick Question

Today I went out and looked at some bull bars for my truck. I know that I'm going to get one for it. I also have some Hella 500s that have been dying to be mounted on my truck, for several weeks now. What I'm wondering, is should I go behind the grille with them, or on the bull bar? It's a beautiful day out, so now's the time to mount them behind the grille if I'm going to do that. But what do you think?

depends what doo you want?? if you put them behind the grille the bull bar might block some of the light and it will defiantly be alot brighter if you put them on the bull bar. Its basically a personal preference.

IMO both. unless it will block some of the light like 4x4HemiFreak said.
but if doing only one set of lights i think they would look better on the bullbar.
its just a matter of what you like better.

Look at mmstars truck, his bullbar looks great and i think the lights on the bar look good almost giving the bar a purpose...its all a matter of personal preference but id mount em on the bar if ya have it.

Yea, well what I was thinking was on the bar, then a set above that behind the grille. I think this first set I'll mount on the bar though, that should look better, and I don't know how high the bar is going to sit.

1 more for the bar! Thats where i put mine, of course im having to relocate them cause they are in the way of the tow hooks that i installed. i went with 6'' inch daylighters and they really fill out the gap of the bull bar, cause other than that it doesnt have much of a purpose. but i might try to put some behind the grille unless i can get a a-frame spotlight for less than 500. check heres a pic

Thank you for that picture. That's the thing is that it's just so hard to google a picture, because you get all the sites selling the merchandise.
