Let me know if you magically find a 2" lift kit for your 2wd 08...

Instead of starting a new thread... I'll ask this question here:

Since the '08 2WD's only option for a leveling kit is 1.5", will that allow a 35" tire? Please someone tell me yes.

35 will be really tight. Almost no room to flex. You may be able to though. Somebody on here has 35's with a 2.5" leveling kit.

Not with the stock wheels, no backspacing. You need at least 4.25" backspacing to clear 35s with only a level. You'll have issues turning tight with the stock rims. Unless you get some skinny tires and I think that would look like doo-doo.
Also, there is not much room to flex, so speed bumps may even be an issue, regardless of the wheels...

Not too sure on what the max tire size is but I only have a leveling kit on my 2wd and I'm running 285's on it w/ 18" wheels and I think it looks pretty good. Here's a pic so you can get an idea of how it looks.

Good luck deciding!

But you have aftermarket wheels!
Also, it appears that your wheels have extra backspacing as they appear to stick out a bit further than stock.

Hammer said doo-doo....lmao

yeah, from what i understand someone on here has 35x12.5x20's with a 2.5" leveling kit in front and 1 inch block in the back... I think this is what i get from reading multiple threads.. can anyone verify that this setup is do-able?
