Freak, a word of advice when dealing with 4 Wheel Parts. They are just like walking into a dealership for a new vehicle. They hit you high and see if you'll pay it. Their policy is to price match! Do your homework, bring in other ads, even printouts from places on the 'net. They'll match and the store mgr. will even wheel & deal on labor.

Trust me, I got 'em down about $400 on my gears, LSD & install and even had them throw in the labor of the LSD provided I buy it from them and let them do it at the same time as the gears, while they were already in there.

I advised 'Nitto do the same and I think he got them down about the same amount on his work too. I'm sure he'll chime in and verify this, he's usually on Gear Threads like a fat chick on chocolate cake!

Lift & tires together ain't gonna be cheap wherever you go, but maybe a little homework and fast talking will get a few hundred bucks off...

Anyone know of a good shop in South Jersey? Also if you have prices from the shop. I'm getting ready to do the gear/LSD swap for my truck. Thanks

Chocolate cake! Here? Where?? LOL

Yes, you are correct Hammer! After taking your wisdom into 4wheel parts they quoted me $2100 for 4:56 gears (everything and install) and Detroit Tru Trac with install. After I talked with them and told them I could get the stuff somewhere else for cheaper they didn't think twice before they dropped the price! With a 500 mile check up and fluid exchange with the gears and DTT and install they came down to $1500 and some change + tax! They even tore my CV boot and replaced the entire axle for me for nothing on my 500 mile check up.

Thanks for the info guys. I might just do the rear and take out the front drive shaft. If I save up the money for everything, my wife would shoot me for spending that much at one time anyway. No joke. Rear for now. Thanks again.
