Well I finally put the G3 plugs in and it was a pain in the ***. It would have taken me about 2 hours but the neighbors came over with some beer and it is too hard to refuse a beer and a little bs. I did notice a .5 milage change the first day we drove around town. I hope to see more of a gain within the month. I'll update you later.

I run NGK iridiums. They are good plugs. Haven't noticed any problems.

Well the gas mileage went to crap. I am getting 9.9 miles city when I was getting 15.9 miles city. I went and bought Champion double platinum power plugs. The G3's have been in there for for 3 weeks now and they are coming out now. Well I'll get back to you on the mileage change. Later

We told you

Copper core plugs fire hotter which is a requirement for the Hemi. Iridium's are just a waste of cash on a N/A engine. Good if under boost.

Well i was getting all this info from my girlfriend, it is her truck so she drives it all the time and was complaining about the gas. Well I finnally got to drive it and I was able to get 17 miles per gallon. The most I have ever seen her get was 15.6 miles to the gallon. I was telling her that there is nothing wrong because she would have a check engine light on if there was something wrong with the truck. She tells me that she dose not feel the HEMI or kick when she steps in the gas. I tell her she is just used to the truck. I told her if she wants to see the gas mileage go back up she needs to keep her foot out of the gas.

lxman-How did you go about with a .044 gap on the ngks. The manual calls for a .035 gap. I finally got aroung to swapin my 03's 5.7 at 28k miles ( yea only 28k in 5 years). I did a .040 gap on them and also swaped the wires with shorty wires. Will the .009 or .005 diffarence from the manual sugjestion gap affect the hemi in any way?
And for those of you whom did the shorty wire swap , did you notice a change in exaust tone?
