here we go again. everyones gonna have a different opinion depending on what they went with. but i'm pretty sure most people are gonna say k&n, since thats what the majority of the domestic market goes towards. i would just check charts if the company provides em.

cant go wrong with k&n. ive got an afe which is one of the few intakes ive found that takes the filter away from the engine heat (so it can actually live up to its name of cold air)

other than that, i still think there all the same, a plastic tube with a big cone filter on the end. i think your just paying for the name. but then again some filters do flow better than others

Personally, I'd go with the Airaid MIT. Replaces the stock intake tube and Hemi hat, but retains factory airbox. And I saw a site (bobtheoilguy.com i think) that showed (somewhat unscientifically, but still accurately) that oiled filters actually let by more particles than typical pleated filters.

Plus, you won't get all the water or engine heat sucked in to your intake (depending on setup, some are just an open cone filter in the engine compartment, whereas others actually pipe down behind the headlight.)

I'm probably gonna break down and buy one, I just hate the idea that I'm paying $100 for a piece of plastic tubing. RIDICULOUS! If I could fab one that looked decent (sorry, no Home Depot intake for me) I would go that route.
