I just got the chip for my truck from autoanything today and the install went pretty well. The only problems I encountered were due to the fact that I didn't fully press the chip in, so when I tried to start my truck it wouldn't turn over. I called jet and talked to a guy who said it takes a lot of pressure to get the oring to snap, and he's dead on b/c when I first put it in the thing wobbled and gave me little confidence in it as a product that cost more than $200. For the chip to seat you have to press really hard, so anyone who gets one remember to press hard until you hear it snap in.

After I got it all back together everything was running good and no check engine light came on. I took it out for a drive and felt a nice little butt dyno increase. Hopefully my intake (now I'm getting a spectre), power wire, and jet stream scoop will also get here this week too. As for the jet chip so far I'm happy with it and I will update as I drive it more this week.

 

must be getting everything from airram yeah i've seen they changed the intake for us v6 guys it used to be a ugly chrome intake the spectre looks better and is only 8 dollars more

 

Yeah I think the spectre one looks really good and if you look up the mopar intake for the 3rd gen rams it is nearly identical to the spectre.

Do you or anyone else know anything about how much the stage II helps?

 

Where did you order it off of i read Auto Anything but is that an online store or local? Can you order them online? Where can i read the specs about it.

 

I don't know how much more it helps, but they recommend it with vehicles with more mods like intake and exhaust already done. Since the price is so close, like 15 bucks I think, the stage 2 might be a better investment if you plan on doing several performance mods.

I got the power wire and jet stream scoop today, but no intake. I got an email from Nick at airram saying it is shipping from the manufacturer, so hopefully I will have it on there soon.
