You say 35's are not that much heavier that 33's pick up a 33 then pick up my mickey's they are a hell of alot heavier. 6" with 35's way to much wheel well on the dodge 4" looks awesome.

 

You cannot compare the stock HP's to your Mickeys.....lol
Yes big difference. That is because the Mickey's are heavy duty extra weight rated. My stock HP's would collapse with one finger pushing into the tread when it was off the rim. The Coopers LTZ's I could sit on and they would support me. Big difference there.

That would mean the dealer could already void warranty with the exact same size tires but because they are a different brand. That's what I'm talking about!

Also, I checked out the TireRack website and compared the BFG All Terrains since they were the easiest to research. The 35" is only 1lb heavier than the 33" in the 15' rim size

Even the 33" to the 37" in the 18" rim size is only 3lb extra per tire
Now put a set of rubber on a 20" rim and it will weigh even less.
A 20" wheel with a set of 35" tires has to weight less than a 17" wheel with 35" tires. I'm gonna research and see if I can get exact specs!
I did find that the 17" rubber weighs 69lbs for a 37" All Terrain and the same tire in 20" weighs 67lbs.

 

yeah but i think the weight difference between a 17 inch with 35s would be teh same as a 20 inch with 35s because the 3 inches of extra rims has got to be about the same weight if not more.
