Unhappy Need Some advice!

I paid off my 04 and got the title. Chrysler then canceled my warranty because they said Penndot indicated I sold my vehicle. I had no idea this happened because I didnt receive any notice they canned my warranty.

I went to the stealer because ABS/BRAKE light were on and they charged me a 90.00 diagnostic. I bought the part for 50.00 and installed it myself. Total 140.00 Then I go there today and they say water pumps bad 520.00.

So i call today and talk to chrysler service contracts and they say they will reactivate my warranty but wont refund any of the 140.00 because I didnt get the part installed and "they" feel they dont have to reimburse me for that. So tommorow I am going to call the stealer and have them fix the water pump and buy two parts and throw in a new thermostat which is 40.00 for the part and a new serpentine belt 20.00 for free because they re going to have to take that stuff out anyways. Now the sensor i installed in the car shut off the lights but today when it was raining they popped back on. I dunno what gives lol they only pop on in the rain. So any ideas, the stealer doesnt even know I called chrysler and their reactivating my warranty so should chrysler pay the bill (140) or should i complain to the stealer to refund me the money then bill chrysler??

Any help is needed and always good opinions.

Realistically the warranty people and dealership are 2 seperate entities. 1 has nothing to do with the other. The dealership does the work and gets paid for their time by chrysler. You could always ask the dealership about it however they have no obligation to do anything. Basically id say ask the dealship but go after chrysler for it. A warranty is a warranty they shouldnt have canned it in the first place...not your problem id say. Good luck.

Since it came back on, the warranty should fix it this time. You will probably have to eat the $140.
