Default Weird C.E.L

Hey Guys, first time poster.

I just got an 04 Dodge Ram 1500SLT Quad Cab with the Hemi (162,000kms) I just recently through a CEL. I don't notice anything different in the quality of the ride at all, the only thing that is strange is now my outside temperature gauge reads -40f/-40c.

I haven't had the chance to pull the code yet, was hoping someone on here has had the same problem and might know how to deal with it.

Also, i was driving earlier and the light shut off and the temperature was measuring correctly again.

Thanks

Welcome to the forum.
Run it by a local AutoZone and they will scan it for free. Then post back code and we can help from there.

Wow thanks for the pics man!

I believe Dodge is the only people who make this part so you have to get it from the dealer.

The cost was $71.89 (cad) but my dad works at the dealership so i got it for $30!

Gonna go install it right now. thank you sooo much for the pics, I really appreciate it!
