i guess i see what you're saying, but hell...i haven't yet seen a v6 truck anywhere with a bumper kit on the front of it...no joke.

and, basically you're paying to difference between the stock replacement and a newer more badazz cover...cause you're gonna need to buy the orinigal bumper in the first place =)

so yea, just go for it.

and will a bumper cover work? i don't know...it covers it, so just bust out a sledge hammer =)

Ha ha. Thats an idea. But I don't wanna eff up everything. It already looks like crap. I'm worried i'll get the cover and then it won't even go on, it'll be a POS etc. I wish they had pics or something of an installation of a bumper cover on a ram.

I replaced mine. Its easy, just takes an 18mm socket, wrench, BFH, and some PB Penetrator

Oh I found a cheaper one than that. But thanks man! I will try it myself for sure. When I get the time. I'll take pics too. So what is BFH and PB?

Why not beat the bumper into submission to get the right shape then slap the nice cover over it?
