Arrow 34Gal Fuel Tank & Cable Route

Due to some problems recently, my gas tank was replaced on my 08 Ram 1500. I was taking a look at their work and noticed on the side of the tank there is a cable/hose running in split loom sheething that seems to be badly squished with no play or room (between tank and wall) fairly tight also.

Can anyone check to see if their Rams has the same thing or if maybe i need to loosen something to take care of this. If not i can get a picture later this evening.

Pete

Here are some pics for easy comparison. Thanks for those who are helping.

The hose or cable i am referring to enters here at the tank. Looking from wheel well. It is very strained it seems.

The last few picture are as seen from below.

Thanks again.

definatly doesent look like its suppose to do that...., just looked at my truck and it has something like that but it has wire loom holders that hold it to the top of the frame and its not inbetween the frame and tank

Thanks Draco...I'm not sure, maybe it was changed in 08 ? It doesn't look right but given the holder locations i don't know how else it can be ran ?

Anyone here with other observations ?

WhiteBerry thanks for looking.

Are you saying the the area visible from the bottom (the area between the tank and frame) is similar on your truck ?

Looks like the vapor recovery hose. If you are not getting a check engine light, it is probably not pinched, but I would take it back and have it redone. Over time it caold cause problems. I don't recall seeing that on my 08. Mine is only 26 gal.
