Default Buying A 2008 1500 Quad Cab 4X4

I'm considering buying an '08 1500 SLT Quad Cab. Big Horn package, 6sp manual. I've read other places online a couple complaints about the 4WD and AC in 3rd gen Rams. Stickers at $36,700 and we are at $25,900 right now. Trying to shave a few thousand more off the price. Any info (positives or negatives) you have on this truck is appreciated.

Thanks.....

I have had my 2008 since April. My only complaint is that it makes my friends with Fords and Chevys cry quite a bit....

Very disturbing to see grown men cry.

Nice choice for the engine and trans. I think a few thousand has to come off and then it's a deal. The ac issue is mainly with the mega cabs. You'll have to put up pics if you get it.

My QC 4x4 stickered at $35,500 I got it for $20,000 out the door, I think you need to work on that deal. There is a post right now on the Corral about one of the mustang guys just buying a Dodge that stickered at $41,000 and got it for $24,500 out the door. (there is also a pic of mine in that thread)

That's too much for a 4.7

You can get another 4k off that easily.

Your in HEMI price land. I would rather have the HEMI/Auto anyway.

My tax dollars bought you a very nice looking RAM Lowly.
I thought I was the only one that ended up with the Chrome clad wheels and OWL white letter tires. They were already on the truck when I bought it. A total of $505 worth of options for both. I like them though
