I bought the Hella 500 and upgraded to 100watt bulbs, but if you do so, you cannot just put in different bulbs without upgrading the thin wiring that comes with them. Harbor Freight sells a 9" Stainless HID light assembly with housing and bulb. They are individual and run $120 each. They don't come with any wiring.

the 500ff is the same size as the 500. only difference between the 500ff and the 500 is the lens. on the 500ff the lens is clear, the lens on the 500 is ribbed/cloudy. check out all the different light hell offers here

at idle there is little difference on the guage when i turn everything on. i run with the stock alternator and single stock battery.
also the KCs cost just over $100 a pair with wiring, switch, and relay for the 100W.
if you want to upgrade the bulb they are really easy to change and you dont have to change any wiring.

6 hemi, man I love the look of the lights on top of your truck. you by any chance have any pics of the mounting? Did you fab the mount yourself? I have a toolbox in the back so I've been trying to figure out just where I'd mount them at.

Is your toolbox over the rails? If not, then you could get a rollbar that mounts just about where my bed rails are at. I've seen a couple of those on the internet.
6 hemi ram, everytime I see your truck, I always think it's a semi at first. That one really looks awesome.

Have you thought about getting an in the bed toolbox? Get one that rests on the bed of the truck. The only problem is you have to make your own setup to get it to fit, because there isn't enough room between the wheel well, and the front of the bed.
