Default lights behind grill ? opinions please

Would you guys suggest the Hellas or would you go with something a little more like the PIAA's? Pencil beam, Fog or Driving patterns? Thanks for your input.

How much lighting do you need? I just got a set of Hella 500 foglights. The driving beam. I think that's what most people here have. But go with the Hellas.

If you really want light, do like what 6 Hemi Ram did to his truck. Get the roll bar on the back, and mount some up there. I'd put 4 behind the grille. Two driving beams on the outside, and two pencil beams on the inside. On the top, all four as pencil beam up there. Between brands, it really doesn't matter, most of it should be personal preference. If you like the lifetime warranty, go PIAA. Just make sure they are thin enough to fit up there behind the grille.

Not sure how much the PIAAs are but the Hella 500s are about $60 for the kit and they are 6" 55w lights.....not a bad investment.

Do you only have the one battery and stock alternator? Seems like you have a lot of power draw going on, just curious what you are using to power it all.
