gotta love chrysler
got my truck a month ago, and really love it. i get a letter in the mail from chrysler saying i have to give them $150 to keep my 7/70 warranty. WTF is this all about. the dealer told me when a bought it, that the truck had the warranty. so now i have 2 weeks to send them the cash, or the truck only has the 3/36! ready to ring someones neck over this one
Here is a link that tells of the $150 transfer fee. http://www.dodge.com/crossbrand/warr...04DR100103.pdf
Mine was 1300 @ singing. It sounds like the truck was bought used and thats to keep the 7/70000 drivetrain.

i did buy it used with 13000 miles on it. the dealer sold it to me with the 7/70 powertrain warranty. now i get off the phone with the dealer and he has no clue of this fee to transfer it. i have to go there on wed to get this fixed. bottom line, they sold me a truck with the warranty, and they didn't transfer it. i asked before i even signed papers if it had the 7/70 powertrain.
A little off topic but does anyone know if Dodge will offer the extended warranty right before your current warranty expires? I know Ford did when I bought my Mustang, and it was almost half the price of when I bought the car. I believe the only difference is that if you purchase it after you buy the car/truck, you have to pay cash as opposed to tacking it on your car payment.
