I got the V6 only due to the price of the truck. I was just out of the Army and the vehicle payment I had was killing me. So, I traded for my Ram. The 3.9L is a turd, but I have done a few things to it and it has been ultra reliable. I just never got rid of it.

$8000!!! that must be a typo. $800 isnt that bad for all those things. I basically got my 22's, bedliner, and tow hitch for free too

I just Picked up my 05 Quad with 71xxx miles on it, recently had my other car (chrysler sebring 02) totaled out, needed something and wanted a truck found it and the price was right paid 8.5k. Previous owner slightly modified it , Had bench seating upfront now has custom leather buckets with black outsides and grey insides front and back, with Dodge ram emblem stiched in to front head rest's, CD changer, Viper alarm, Custom Dual exhaust, when i first went to test drive and i fired it up i was seriously doubting it was a 3.7 sounds great with the borla exhaust.

i wish i has some leather buckets on my truck. does it have the center console now? i want to get rid of my bench/bucket seat and just put two buckets with one of those big built in consoles with cupholders and everything

Nope it doesnt have a center console in it, Im kinda looking around and debating on it, TBH id rather not have it just more space to keep crap and make the thing a mess , not like i really need it to hold cd's have a CD changer and will be installing my Sirus in it soonish as soon as i can get to the yard and pull my docking kit out of my totaled car

also is tax season so im debating on weither to order a set of headers or a CAI or maybe both depending if i get the headers first they'll just sit there till i get a CAI

definitely get both headers are around $300 and CAI is $100. they will make a big difference when you put them on
