I just switched from a Flowmaster 50HD to the Cherrybomb Vortex and its great...The truck pulls more steadily than it did with the FM and the sound is better, not at echo chanber as the FM. Tried a cherrybomb glasspack and is was too quiet, as with the magnaflow. So far i'm very happy with the Vortex. Muffler is installed in stock location but rear resonator removed and dual tip exiting passenger side in front of rear tire.

I had the old school straight thru thrush glasspack on my 04 I loved it loud as hell but wife complained so i hit the gas.. lol but then i went with cherry bomb turbo and ran it straight off cat pipe thru muff then short straight with a 45 cut in and let it dump right under truck. semi quiet when cruising but wakes up on throttle. plus no pipes to be seen. oh yea did it myself cost 40 for cherry bomb and first one was 24.99 plus a couple clamps!!

Go here and offer around $350.00. You will be surprised how cheap they are. I got my 16700 kit (list $608) for $416 delivered to my door in a couple of days.

and

Gibson 316601 (aluminized steel) or 616601 (stainless steel)

The cherrybomb kit cost $411, much cheaper than the magnaflow kit($531). And it also has a reputation of being loudest.

I'd appreciate if you can share some experience with cherrybomb system, especially on its construction quality. Thanks.
i have the magnaflow and love it
