Another New guy with a new Toy
I think it was close to 750, but I got it pieces over a long time so I can't remember. I think my deck was 200, 210 for 6 speakers, 2 cheap pioneer amps for 100, then you got the wiring kits, and sub and more amps later. I had a couple speakers seize and had to replace them, and upgraded the speaker amps to the mtx 4 channel amp. You only need 4 speakers, a deck, amp, sub, and wiring kit so your total should closer to the figure Chaos gave you.
I think it was like 215 or little more. I got an amp with a little more power than my sub specs said it could handle and then turned the gains down, so I wouldn't blow it. The great thing about rockford amps is that they are always more powerful than the specs say. Each one comes with it's own sheet with the actual output which is at least 40 watts more than the specs say.

That's my sub, but right now it's just sitting in my garage. Raminator if your interested in that and rockford amp to power it let me know.
This is the current equivalent of the amp I have http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...te+P300-2.html

Raminator - what I originally listed isn't going to be gut wrenching bass like my old systems but is a hell of a lot better than factory. The difference would be like flipping a switch. Just by changing out the Head unit itself will make a noticable difference. Then changing out the door speakers and adding subs and an amp. You can't go wrong unless you really just cheap out. You get what you pay for. Plus doing a complete system overhaul for under 600 is pretty damn good. Also if you need any help just let me know.
