its also depends on the driver. you gotta know how to handle the v8
yeah silverbullet08, im calling you out after you made fun of my v6
by the way, what are doing here on the the v6 forum. picking on some "helpless" v6 owners are you, lol im just messing with you
before you say anything, on a straightaway where all you need to do is hold on to the steering wheel and press the gas pedal down, youd beat me but hey, i could give a monkey a hemi and teach him to do that. i bet if i gave a pro driver my truck against you on an actual track (not a drag race), he could woup your buttox. srry, messing with you again but i am serious

Number 1 it's a 6 cylinder and 2 it's a truck, built for work not racing. Just mod it for fun and to feel that little bit of extra power you gave it.

I had a 2008 Ram with the V6 and now have an 2008 Ram with the hemi and all I have to say is nothing alike. There is just way to much horsepower that the V6 lacks. I really don't think a V6 could give an hemi a run for it's money before you dumped way more than enough money into the V6 to drop in an hemi.

You would have to make up about 135hp and 140 in torque.

alright but i choose the track and the driver
hey no hard feelings, its all univeristy of texas anyway. we all know theyre the best. its not like you went to some A&M dump (no offense aggies before you end up getting pissed off, i have my own personal preferences) I just heard that theres more fun at UT austin and i know a lot of people who ended up transfering there from other places. i still remember what you said. a STOCK hemi is way better than a STOCK v6 but a heavily modified v6 (if i ever find one) will be be way better than a stock hemi
and about that v6 performance, i would stop wasting money on something that wont get faster unless some serious dough is dropped in. just get some appearance mods to distract people from the little engine

That's the statistics of the newer V6s? That's worse than my original V6. Yikes.
