Talking My New 4.56

Ok here is my story with the 4.56 gear and the Detriot TruTrac. i ordered the parts online from AirRam and they cost me 1055$ then i shipped them from the US to Egypt and i paid 750$ UPS and the parts were 85 pounds. Then i paid taxes and duty on the parts 300$ then i am installing them now at the workshop and that will cost me around 220$ so now as you can see the total is 2325$. well now i am offically broke and i am waiting for the truck to be finished i think tomorrow. i am waiting to feel the results. woohoo will keep you updated.

I hope you had 3.55s before if not you might not be real impressed. Are those numbers us currency?

Huge benefit, especially to the weekend warriors with big meats and the saturday drag strip crowd.

Ahmed: You do know about proper break in procedures for a new ring & pinion, right? Don't go feeling them "results" too soon or you will be more broke having to buy another set or paying the guy to put your old gears back in!!!

And I almost forgot, now you can add yourself to the "4.56 Gear Club" it's under social groups, let me know if you have a problem finding it...

$2300 for gears...OUCH!!! You'll enjoy them though, the first time you put your foot to the floor with them in (after the break in period) you'll understand exactly what I mean...

Yea, that's what it's called.

Is there a way that you can check what size gears you have? Hopefully over spring break I can get my fluids changed in my truck, and I would love to figure what gears that I have.

Hope you enjoy your gears. Also, you should get some more pictures of your truck up some time. It looks pretty cool, also like the background in your sig pic.

Y'all ease up on 'ol Ahmed! He can't help where he is from. Performance just costs a hell of a lot more there!
