Take her to your truck, show her the wheel well and the parts behind there. After showing her, explain to her that the gravel, mud, and dirt will ruin those parts and will cost more $ in the end. Hope that works too. Good luck!

don't "sell" her on tryin to get some new stuff for the truck...just go out and buy it, it's your truck man, not hers...and if she wants to be mad, then you'll spend a few nights on the couch with the dog but it'll pass......just do it!!!!!!!!!! lol

I haven't gotten into the expensive mods yet, but I'll have to keep this option open from some of the responses I've seen on this thread.

The slush fund seems the way to go. Our couch isn't very comfortable anyways. I appreciate all the suggestions and I'll make sure to take pay attention to the title I give my posts next time so I don't get you all too excited.

so heres what you do. get a new couch that you love because you say your current couch isnt that comfy. she will agree for that because its for both of you. then get whatever you want and when she makes you sleep on the couch youll be in heaven because you picked it out. problem solved
