Looks even better painting the silver rocker trim, btw.
yeah painting the rockers totally changed the look of the truck. Hahaa and yeah the chrome, well ppl always say "chrome dont get you home" plus its gonna be an off road truck and black just looks so much better, and easier to keep clean.

Painted the grill now. But now the headlights look out of place lol. Might have to invest in some black ones.

Some black headlights would pull the whole front end of your truck together. The truck is looking good.

yeah for the badges can you take them off and put them back on easily or should i really just mask away and paint them on the truck ?? Ive also heard you can take the headlights apart and paint them, is that true? and how hard is it?

yea people have taken the badges off then put them back on its not that hard. 3m double sided tape or super glue. ask rrsjb? i think thats his name. he did not to long ago. and for the headlights there is a DIY section on taking apart the headlight and painting it.

It is true, you need to bake them in the oven in order to get the lights apart. I don't know how hard it is to do but I think there is a DIY about it on here somewhere.

Hmm might just be better to buy a new assembly i've seen them pretty cheap lately on ebay. I dont wanna be messing around with that stuff to much, especially when it comes to sealing them back up. I remmeber a guy on here was having problems with his headlights fogging up on the inside cus he didnt reseal them to well.

Exactly my thinking too. When I do mine I am just going to buy a set. Baking headlights isn't really my thing
