Does any one know the significance of the different Big Horn Badges? I'm looking at 2002-2005 models. Some simply say BIG HORN EDITION and others have the square shaped RAM badge to the side of BIG HORN EDITION. Is it a different package or is it something to do with the year? I have also seen some trucks with badges on the doors and tailgate, others with badges on just the doors, and yet others with just a badge on the tailgate...whats the "OEM correct" placement?

 

 

depends what year the truck is for badge placement.....
also some people remove badges (i have none at all on my truck)

 

big horn badges is usually on the lower right tailgate

 

Mine is on the lower left. I have a 2008 and it's the 3D looking one with the Ram head

 

yeah that what i meant. every year seems to be a little different. my bro in laws 07 had them on the door and the tailgate. needless to say he debadged because too many chrome ebmlems looks cheasy on a truck.

 

I think it's just a difference in years. Mine's an 08 and has the whole Ram on it. Some other years have only the ram's head or the text only from what I've heard.

Yeah, that's prob what I've got. Like I said, it was on there and I could care less about it. It does nothing for me. Too much work to take it off. Doesn't bother me. Maybe if someone wants to pay $50 for it I'd remove it as they cost like $85+ new?????
