Just compared the grilles, you are right. Bottoms of the grille are different.

I've seen pictures of trucks where they have swapped the front ends. It's actually everything, except maybe the hood panel itself. I don't think it would be a cheap thing to do - all those parts really add up, and then you need to paint them unless you are lucky enough to find them all in the right color. I'm sure it can be done, but I think SeMiGoD has the right idea - get some headlights you like that fit your year - much cheaper and easier. It's your truck though if you're up to the work and have some money to spend.

i actually saw a guy a while back (not here) who just replaced his fenders and lights with 06+ and left the bumper and grill the same. it looked pretty crappy to me. you know 05 and earlier and the little curves to fit their lights, well he just left them there but had the newer lights. uggh!

A conversion kit runs about $1500.
If you have an 06-08 front end, then yea, it will all bolt right up, and go right ahead. I'd love to, because I love the look of that front end a lot more than mine.

That's where you can find one if you want to purchase one. It includes absolutely everything that you'll need for it.

that kit looks very pricy although that SRT10 with night runner lights would be nice for anyone. I wonder if it would be cheaper just to sell your truck and buy a 06+
if you had an 05, the trade off difference would be less but with lets say an 02, it would probably better just to do that.
i think the kits to caddilac conversion kits are cheaper but thats because more people do that to their chevys

I would guess that the connectors for the headlights are probably different, and that harness in the kit probably converts them. Just a guess.

too much work and $$ for not much of a difference I say. The 06-08 head lights are supposed to be brighter and project better than the 02-05 though. thats why dodge did it

The 06-08 have different lights than the 02-05. 9006 to 9007, I think that's what the harness is for.

where did you find that upper bumper bumper cover. right now i have the black plastic one and i was wondering whether it would be easier to paint it or buy one already prepainted body color
