Oh, haha. So, you would need something like this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Dodge...9370QQtcZphoto

It is only listed for up to a 2007, so I don't know how that would work in the 08. Other than that, you need a $20 RCA cable, and $17 worth of speaker and power wires.

Hey i want to keep my stock stereo aswell but my buddy is trying to get me to buy his mtx thunderforms from his QC they sounded pretty decent the couple times i heard them, but he doesnt have an amp for them.

Pretty much wondering about this setup if any one else has it mixed in with there factory stereo, or even an after market just looking on some reviews mostly for the enclosure and subs i suppose.

even a recomendation for a sutible amp.

How do they sound w/o amp? i would think not that good bc the stock stereo is not that powerful. i had a 12" mtx 4500 thunderform and it blew after yr and half. and i didnt even have it turned up.

usually when your amp is more powerful than the sub can handle. but the mtx are weak subs and it was just old.

I have the MTX Thunderform in my 06. It sounds good and has a fair amount of power; although it sounds better with the Mygig radio (I had the RAQ radio when I put the subs in). I don’t know how it would sound without an amp, since the stock Infinity system doesn’t have enough bass as it is. I put in a Kenwood amp, I’m not sure what kind, but it was cheap and had enough power, and it sounds pretty good.
