12's Possible/w 4wd Hemi QC +125 Shot
jordan, im not trying to argue, but the "rule" is typically a 100 shot = a second or so...again, this is a very loose estimate. 13.70s with a stock neon + a 75 shot? ive run a 16v 2.0 with a 65 shot and a good stiff clutch, and the besr that it got was high 14s, and while the sebring was a bit heavier, those would be some remarkable times.
with the mustang, im guessing that this was a fox of some sort? what kind of cage were you running? whats traps? again, that seems super fast for your mods...

The mustang is the same one that I still own that has a 82 mm turbo on it now. It still has no cage. It is a gutted 90' Notch. It was trapping over 120 mph with a 125 shot. It did have the basic things as well, under drive pulleys, 75mm MAF, Full exhaust.
I hope you can agree with me that ANYONE only netting a few tenths from a 100 shot is either in a 8000lbs+ vehice or has no clue what they are doing!
The neon was around 2500 lbs, the whole 1 second for a 100 shot means absolutely nothing without accounting for weight in the equation. We are talking about a vehicle that probably made 125WHP. 200 WHP should have no problems getting in the 13's in a 2500lb vehicle.

Weight is definately going to be my largest issue. I am sure there are some things I can do to knock off a few hundred lbs. I am not apposed to spraying more than a 125 shot I have just heard that the hemi's pistons can't take much.
You have absolutely know Idea what you are talking about. If you were only getting a few tenths out of a 100 shot you had no idea what you were doing! You obviously can't read either! My first sentence in my post stated that it is a wet kit! I know that the wieght of the truck is going to be the biggest factor in what I am able to do e.t. wise, that's why I asked! But you obvoisly have no idea what you are talking about, so why even respond?
And now I have a reason to beat on my buddy...I love it when someone tell me something can't be done. I don't care why he runs what he runs at the track but 13's are 13's. I don't expect to get close to his mph but I damn sure will hand him his *** before it is all siad and done

Title and postings are clearly against proper ethics code for this forums and your bragging about supposedly turning me in a while back? Yeah, that's cool.
I'm very familiar with mustangs as being an owner myself. 473rwhp 468rwtq 97cobra Vortech SQ 10psi. Runs low 11's all day.
I have ran with newer Z06's. The old set-up only ran .6sec faster with a 100shot due to street tires. Also, a 100shot isn't rwhp although NX is much higher than the competitors.
125 shot in a Hemi Ram with nothing else will not net 12s, but you will get attention.
Here is something to chew on..
04-06 SRT RC. 500HP 525TQ, more than you have at the crank with a Hemi + 125 shot. Better tranny.. Better gearing.. They can struggle to reach 12s. Many will not do it, but some of that is driver.
Continued use of the 125 shot will either tear up the tranny or differential (most likely differential) before long. And if you were entertaining running in 4 wheel drive to get bite off the line.... Please, film it
Oh and your buddy in the 405HP Z06, well he can not drive, so you have that going for you. http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do...rticleId=48955

for one thing, your truck is closer to 6000 than 5500.
next, the ram torque converter is one of the most inefficient out there, so the calculation that site is doing is probably an underestimate on the power you need.
you have a 2300 rpm stall speed...not exactly a drag race setup.
probably blow the trans pretty quick.
probably blow the diff on your first track day.
most likely need lower gears in the diffs.
might even tweak the driveshaft (it's happened).
blowing the motor would be the last of my concerns, the motor is pretty stout. can't say the same for the rest of the drivetrain.
Have you ever raced your truck while it's stock? What do you assume it runs?
I can tell you I got a whopping 15.9 @ 87 out of mine with a Superchips & CAI. I don't complain because it is a 6000lb truck (according to the track's digital scale) and it isn't my go-fast vehicle anyway.
Say I sprayed a 125 shot. It might net a 14.50 if I'm lucky. These trucks are fun but come on -- a Z06? Until you're packing a turbo it just isn't going to happen.
