What's the most annoying thing about your truck?

you must really beat on your truck for an 04 to be consuming a litre of oil per tank of gas...i dont lose any after a whole oil change interval...

I read your other thread about the problems you have been having and they do not sound typical for an 04. Sounds like the person before you beat the snot out of your truck before you got it.

I have two: The stock tires, and the wind noise in the drivers side door.

the only thing i find annoying so far is the gas pedal on my 04, you have to be so gental or bam your up to speed quicker then you think (not a good thing when driving curtiously for gas mileage) and my truck is in MPH and i live in canada, mine takes FOR EVER to warm up, seriously...ill let it warm up for 2-3 minutes and the temp guage wont move, then ill drive to the highway (which is about 2 miles down a 35 mph road) and by the time im on the on ramp its just barely on the scale...OH and when im on the highway it wont shift into 5th it will stay in 4th...im assuming so it can warm up faster but i dont go as fast ill stay at like 50 mph until it finally shifts

that it doesnt have a 1000000 hp/tq stock ( even though id still want more),the damn wind noise in the doors all the damn time. the part throttle shift points that shift to the highest gear even when not needed and the drivetrain in these rams really rob way too much power. one last thing thats really really annoying me is my drivers seat is really in need of some help (the foam is soo compressed and getting hard and i only weigh 190) thats it. i still love her though. she my baby and always will be.......

The stock 20" Wrangler HPs on my truck suck. Odd shift pattern when in low speed. The LSD seems a little too eager sometimes, but I guess that's the point.

Since the tires are Goodyears, I can't blame the truck - just the engineers who specified them for our trucks!!

Rattle in the right-side dash, seat comfort, and crappy OEM tires. However, it's still one of the favorite vehicles I've had over the years!

Like mentioned, the lag when acclerating. I push down the pedal then after a few seconds it begins to go. Future mods will hopefully increase my throttle response.

Also, i don't think it's been mentioned, but my truck doesn't have a single locking compartment. Why on earth would they not put a locking compartment on a vehicle that is relatively easy to break into?

I haven't driven mine enough to have alot of complaints. I find it seems like you have to push the gas peddle alot to get it going, takes a bit to get used to. Other than that i like the truck, actually find the gas mileage very reasonable, the ride pretty good even with the winter tires, and i really love the room since having my son three months ago. The zr2 just wasn't cutting it anymore, although i still love that truck. No matter what vehicle we buy we will find faults. My friend is driving a new tundra, fully equiped and i honestly like the truck alot but it is only getting like 11.5 mpg and he really finds it low and easy to get stuck. I parked mine alongside it and it is alot higher. I have never had a vehicle that i have never had something i didn't like about it in my 19 years driving. Guess we have to live with that.
