Local dealer dosn't have any 09 2500's, a nearby town does though, will check when i get over there next.

This is again why the 3/4 and 1 ton goes to ford. I hate to say it but ford has the best super duty/heavy duty trucks out there. I dont care if dodge says their new 2500 IFS is strong, it can not be as strong as the super dutys SAS.

Its bad enough owning a 1500 with the IFS or as i like to call, "It-F*cking-Sucks" front end.

hold on now, let's think this through. this isn't such a bad idea as long as there is an option for a SFA, even if it's just on the 4x4. what does someone who just tows or hauls all the time care if the front end is independent? of course if you want to plow or off-road you want the solid, and in either case, you'd also want a 4x4.

Are we sure it's not a typo because that is the 3rd gen chassis. It's like when there was the Cummins with 425hp and 400lbs of torque. Or the 3.7v6 with 250 horsepower.

Could be, their is a lot of Inconstancy's on the entire website.

Apparently nobody read my post. THERE IS NO IFS ON THE 2500/3500!!!!!!!!!!

And there wont be on the 4th gen 2010 HDs either. Clear as mud???

as far as the 3rd gens go, no IFS on a HD. for the 4th gens...i didnt know, but i guess now i do lol. and mud is opaque lol
