I was looking at headlights for my 08 Ram and I clicked on a section for Engine's. Here' is what came up. http://www.k2motor.com/vs-epac-atw.html

Be sure to read the performance aspect of this Voltage stabilizer!...lmao I bet they actually thought of putting dyno numbers down....hahahahahahaaaaa

Yea that place has some bad things in their practices. I tried to order a set of headlight assemblies but wasn't told that they were on back order for two weeks would take three weeks to get to me. I had to call them. I ordered them from another place and those work really nice.

WTF??? Seriously??? Just connect the red to the red, and blue to the black. It must have little trolls inside the box that massage the battery. "Lesser Engine Noise Increases Headlight Brightness" - YeeHaw, taht der is some dang gooder grammer.

All I can say is WOW!!! I bet if you bought one of these thingamajiggers and opened it up, it would be empty inside except for a note that said, "You = Fail!!!"

I'm guessing it's essentially a giant, multi-farad capacitor. Which actually will reduce noise induced into the electrical system, and increase output voltage by smoothing the variations in the alternator power going to the battery. Of course, it will really suck when you disconnect the battery for whatever reason and still have several seconds of power floating around in the system.

If you squint right, ignore the hp gains, etc. it's.... less untrue.

Completely useless if your alternator is working properly, However If the regulator built in to your alternator is going it may very well do what it claims, Even the torque and hp gains.

Like Rojhan stated though, I would hate to think there would be Juice left in the system after the negative is disconnected.

Actually, not completely useless...audio enthusiasts have been using caps for years to reduce the voltage fluctuation in vehicles. The alternator can only produce a certain amount of wattage, and even then it can't always keep up with the demand. Watch your headlights when your A/C cycles on/off. You'll get a brief dimming until the engine and electrical system recovers.

I'm not saying this device will increase HP or anything, but there is a possibility that having it would at least hold true some of their claims, such as headlights will be brighter, and electrical noise will be lesser, as well as audio quality.

Voltage spikes are one thing, but HP/Torque, smoother idle are all BS. I have a Batcap300 which is the equivilant to over 100farad capcitors. It has 300cranking amps and can run a car all by itself. It's essentially a mini battery but recharges itself as fast as a capacitor. No reduction in noise did I experience, no smoothness in idle. Sure it help with voltage spikes, but only for enough time until it's fully drained (which is a while).
That capacitor that they have is teeny tiny and can prob withstand maybe a 300watt amp. It's prob equal to 1farad.

I can't stand when companies have to over indulge people about their lame products. They need to just say , hey, look at this...It'as a capacitor to stop your HID flicker and is otherwise useless...lol

yeah, that's pretty much all it will do.
