Default Hemi got me into trouble today...

I was in St Louis today, I got pulled over and got a ticket for "Hard Acceleration" of all things. I am so used to having to push the throttle to get my old truck to go I didn't realize I was doing it on this one...

I didn;t even know there were tickets for that.

No actually the CAI that I got last week was my first mod.

Exhibition driving would have been if I had laid down a bit of rubber so I can get my wife to allow me to go ahead and get rid of these damn stock tires and wheels. If I had known I was gonna get a ticket I would have done it.

No clue, I didn't even have the pedal all the way down. Also never got passed the speed limit of 40. Actually I have friends that work in the court where the ticket is based, I beleive I will be able to make the ticket vanish since it is a BS ticket anyways.

If you can get a ticket for that, I'm suprised I haven't gotten one yet. I would go to court over that one. That sucks.... My wife got pulled over once for passing a slow moving truck in town. The cop couldn't tell her how fast she was going, he just her the engine rev. What a DORK!!!!

That is a ridiculous reason for a ticket. Could they come up with a more judgement based reason to give a ticket than that? One man's hard acceleration is another man's daily driving habits

yeah fight it man. that is teh 2 dumbest reasons iv ever head of getting a ticket. i had an EVO X with a turbo back exhaust that was LOUD there was a cop with in 500 feet of me and heard it and also saw a car TRY and hit me. and pulled both me and the other guy over and gave me a ticket for reckless driving!!! yet the other guy got of with a warning cause he was a FRIEND of this cop. i took it to court and won. (course i didn't say anything about my exhaust haha

I HAD THE RIGHT OF F***ING WAY

A lot of places will give you tickets for excessive acceleration due to street racing. Were you sitting at a traffic lights around other vehicles? If so, good luck getting out of it.
