all i've ever used to change an oil filter is my hand. never needed a wrench to take on off, not even the factory filter. tighten them by hand too. changing the oil on the ram is a breeze. the hardest part is waiting for the oil to finish draining. i have heard tons of stories about oil filters being Hell, guess i am just lucky!

on a semi-related note, i switched to amsoil and amsoil filter, LOVE IT. gonna do the tranny and diff next, SUPPOSEDLY it gives you some six HP at the wheels by reducing friction, but i will just do it for the protection.

The only problems I've had with them are some gm ls engines and the rx8. No problems with dodge filters of any kind.
