Default approximate gear oil quantities

Manual doesn't say how much for rear and front differentials is needed to fill em up. I realize it won't be exact but I'd like to know roughly so I order the right amount from mobil1. i know what weights and about the friction mod for the rear but that's all that is in my manual. checked faq's and DIY didn't see it.

I just did mine about a month ago, and I wanna say the front 205MM axle took just about 2 qts. The rear took 2.5 qts. You'll need 2 qts for the front and 3 for the back. They take different grades. From the spec sheet posted, which I believe to be correct, the front takes 70w-140, and the rear takes 80w-90, both synthetic.

I know the back requires Synthetic, but not sure if the front does. Regardless if it were me, I would just put in Synthetic. You only talking about an extra $25

I'd have to check the manual. I know I bought synthetic for both, and I'm pretty sure it called for it. Regardless, you're not saving much to make it worth not using.

I put 2 quarts in the front and rear on my 3rd gen, The manual stated you should use 75-90 for the front diff and 75-140 for the rear diff

I bought three quarts for the rear, but now I have a full bottle of RP gear lube rolling around on the backseat
