The '09 RAM is a game changer for trucks in general. What is msrp for raptor? How many people will buy a brand new expensive truck and beat the **** out of it off road?

Its nothing like a regular 4x4 f150. new suspension, tires, wider body, and engine. I think it might be better than a power wagon. btw, i really dont know much about the power wagon. all i know is that is has a winch. what makes it so expensive?

Power Wagon, 2500 frame, 33 inch AT tires, winch, 4.56 gears, front and rear lockers, Hemi, sits a little higher than a stock 2500.

Very good points but i think its gonna be more of an attention grabber for ford the way the viper is for dodge. Give ppl a reason to come in and look. I guess the new ram could do the same for dodge with that (althought kind weak for payload) 5 link coil in the back every review of the new ram just loves it. PLus the dodge offers nearly the same mpg while still giving you the 390hp hemi where chevy and ford have low hp smaller V8 that only get sligghty better mpg. I think thats a point dodge needs to make in advertising.

not to mention the electronicaly disconnecting front sway bars for better articulation a great truck but at a base price of around and over 50,000$ canadian maybe a little to much more many truck buyers.

Thanks. I knew I'd forget something.

I get better highway mileage than chev and ferd claim in my truck. Dodge now offers the most power but we don't know it they put it to the ground any better. We'll see who does better in the long run. My local dealer as of last week had only sold 4 or 5 new rams. I also hope that Chrysler won't be the first to go belly-up.

Fack it. If they do release the raptor and that 400hp motor pulls hard well sign me up cause thats where I will be buying next in about 2 or so years. Like previously mentioned the new Dodge trucks are cool but are they BAJA racong inspired cool?

No.

Sorry Dodge ford might have you on this one.
