The standard FX4 F150 has an E-Locker in the rearend for 09.

The Raptor has a 500hp 6.2L Boss engine. This will be detuned in 2010 or 2011 for the standard F150 to 400hp 400lb/ft. The current 5.4L is 310hp 390lb/ft.

The Ram is a better looking truck. Hell, the 08 F150 looks better than the 09 to me.

I definitely would retune the suspension to keep the truck from switching lanes when hitting a bump like mine does. Too soft. I hope stiffer shocks will help when the time comes to replace them. I don't know if the coil spring rear suspension helped this or not. Personally, I would have put stiffer leaf springs on the 1500 and moved the shocks to the outside of the frame for more stability instead of coil springs. If I wanted a smooth ride, I would have bought a Crown Vic.

As for payload, My 01 F150 that I traded in on my 08 Ram, didn't squat near as bad when I hooked up my empty car trailer. I have to put alot of tension on the equilizer bars on my hitch to help level it out. I guess I need to add a leaf.
