Default noob looking for help!!!

I have a 06 hemi 2wd I was looking to put on 35's and I know I need to get at least a 2 inch lift. I was wondering if i should go with a body lift or a suspension lift?. I was thinking of getting a 3 inch body lift but i'm unsure of the company to buy from and what brand. Thanks in advance
Mike

welcome to the forum. theres a great search function on here that allows you to search through previously talked about topics. this is one that has been hashed out like crazy.

For 2-3", a leveling kit is probably the most popular. A 2-3" suspension lift is kind of a waste of time. for a 3" lift, go with a body lift. Perfmormance Accessories makes a great kit for under $400. You're also more than likely going to need a 1.5-2" wheel spacer to get the stock wheels to hold 35's without rubbing. good luck

What is the advantages and disadvantages in getting the 2" leveling kit. I was going to go with a aftermarket wheel to avoid wheel spacer. Also, if i get the 2" leveling kit i can run 35" tires with no rub?

Personal Opinion: screw the level kit and look into a raised spindle. It wont change the geomotry of the suspension and end up much cleaner...just more expensive.

Or just got body lift and keep the stock suspension completely unchanged.

I'm just trying to get 17 inch wheels with 35 inch tires.
I figured i needed to get 2 inches from somewhere and I'm trying to figure the best way without spending to much money.
