painting wheels black?
i want to paint my wheels balck b/c they are all chipped up and i was wondering
a) has anyone else done this (pics)
b) do i need a clear-coat if i just use the dupli color rattle paint? or is the paint it self fine? really what i want to know is what are the steps to doing this

To answer your first question, it has been done. I did mine last year and they are holding up great. I wasn't sure how well they would last with all the salt they use around here but so far so good.
I used the duplicolor products, both the paint and clear. If you are going to use the clear there is a certain time window after painting that you have to clear the rim.
Here is a pic of the finished product.

no problem. yea i think i might do it too but later. right now im working on painting the grill silver to match and then the mirrors and door handles
