When I had my quad cab with the rear sliding window I could not reach it, with out stopping and turning around to open it. My kids used it once in a while but not alot. I would say it is not worth it in a 4 door or quad cab truck.

Would this be a power rear window or not. If it not a power window it might become a bit of a pain opening and closing it.

for me, one of those obstructs visibility. besides, i like the clean look the once piece back window gives. yeah, it definitely have to be power because its going to be a pain to open and close it. i like the power down back windows on the tundras because it has the one piece look and the entire back window goes down

Lot more difficult to open and close the slider in the QC trucks. I have one and the one time I did leave it open I forgot to close it and got my back seat wet when it friggin rained. I probably won't ever open the friggin thing again.
