i think you need 1.25 spacers for the stock 20's.

if you have the extra cash for new rims/tires do it but if you want 35s spacers arent bad. i have them on my truck now. i plan on 35 toyo mt too, so i put the spacers on to see if i would have any problems before i spent the cash on 35s. i put 1/4 inch spacers that i got off ebay for $12 for a set of 4 with $6 shipping. they fit great and i have had no problems. the studs are shortened by a 1/4 inch but there is plenty of thread for the lug still.

Sweet, thanks for the pic kicker!

I got a crazy deal on four of these: http://mhtwheels.com/wheel.cfm?cat=287 in 20x9 and I'm getting four of the Toyo Open Country M/T 35x12.5 for ~$1200 mounted and balanced so I'm going to just spend the extra couple bucks and get new rims and tires. I have 6 of the '07 20" chrome wheels, 4 with rubbers, hopefully I can sell all 6 of them and recover some of the cost of the new wheels.

I'll post a pic when I get them put on, hopefully by the end of the week!

If you want to do it the "right" way wait until you can afford the suspension lift and then get the 35's.

I was going to do it in that order but the tread on my tires is getting low and it was one or the other. If I get a lift first I'd have 3/4 bald stockers on a lifted truck and I'm not doing any serious off-roading for the next few months anyway, the most I'll be driving through is a few feet of snow.

Plus if I did it in that order I wouldn't be able to help myself and I'd end up getting 37's and then I'd need a new rear end, etc.. etc.. until I'm flat broke!

hey,
It's best to go with a new offset rims. Also get rid of the 20's and go for 16's this does a couple of things. It make your truck look a little bigger, you get better ride quality and its a hole lot cheaper then buying 35" with a 20 inch rim. I have 325R60/20 and they were @$425 a piece. (CDN). If i was to do it over, proper 16 inch rims and sell the 20's. Thats just me though.

Finally got them put on and they look awesome! They only stick out from the fender about 2-3" and the new rims fit perfectly. I was also pleasantly surprised with the amount of fender gap, I was worried it would look stupid without a lift but it looks decent. Took it through over a foot of wet snow and the tires tore it up!

The weather is going to be crappy for a few days but once I get it cleaned up I'll snap a few pics.

Now I need to decide on a lift, I think I'm going to go with around 4" of lift, anybody have a 4" lift that they like?
