Took it through over a foot of wet snow and the tires tore it up!

The weather is going to be crappy for a few days but once I get it cleaned up I'll snap a few pics.

Now I need to decide on a lift, I think I'm going to go with around 4" of lift, anybody have a 4" lift that they like?

I believe Hammer has a 4" lift he is quite happy with...I have a fabtech 6" on mine, which is really only 5.5", its perfect for me. probably more $$$ than a 4" would be though.

It make your truck look a little bigger, you get better ride quality and its a hole lot cheaper then buying 35" with a 20 inch rim. I have 325R60/20 and they were @$425 a piece. (CDN). If i was to do it over, proper 16 inch rims and sell the 20's. Thats just me though.

Can't replace the stock 20's with 16's. Must use 17's or larger because the calipers. They used large brakes on the newer one;s.

I wanted to take any future temptation of going with tires bigger than 35's away, that was the biggest reason I went with the 4" kit.
But the Rancho is built strong, a complete welded box sub-frame. The lesser expensive 6" kits use just a crossmember. Because the Rancho is overbuilt (IMO) it is as much money as most 6" kits, even more money than some of the "bargain" 6" suspension kits...

wow redbeard, your truck looks great, although I still prefer 17" rims. how much clearance do you have between the tire and the bumper or fender with the front wheels at full lock?

I was told 35's, even with a level kit, would rub so i orddered 33's instead.
