Default Truck Randomly Dies

Has this happened to any of you guys? It will die whenever it feels like sometimes in the middle of the street. I am worried on of these times I am gonna get in a wreck because of it. I am not throwing any codes either. Any help would be appreciated.

New vehicle, these dealers can't fix that problem. I don't know what is causing it, but that happened to my grandparents Jeep. Slow down for corners, started sputtering just before they got rid of it. It was in at the dealer, driven for 100 miles or more, and they found nothing on it. No codes, just died randomly on my grandma, and only got worse.
Hope that doesn't happen to you, and is just a minor problem, but I know that happened to my grandparents.

Mine usually dies when its a colder morning and i let it warm up for about 10 mins then i start driving..the gauge for the engine is still pointing towards the "C" when I get to a traffic light then my rpm's drop below 500 and then to 0 so i just restart the engine..it only does that sometimes when it cold outside but it hasn't happend in a while now..still have no idea why that happens

how exactly is it dying on you? in my durango right before my PCM totally took a ****, the lightning bolt light would come on, the engine would die, and i would lose power everything. then id pull over (just barely), wait for a couple min, and itd start back up and run again.

I never have had that problem in my colbalt... yet but I think I just jynxed myself there... 41k strong...

Its happened to me in the trucks at work though, depending on how long you had the battery maybe check the connections, cords and the battery itself... usually 1 of the 3 is the reason for this... even when it dont throw a code...

It was a glitch in the actual tune on the stock PCM, not saying this is his problem, but I know some Hemi's through '05 had the issue and the fix was flashing it with the updated tune...

My truck had a six year old battery in it, and I never once had a problem with it, as far as doing that. So I don't think his actual battery itself is the problem, not when mine lasted so long.

You've got the 4.7L right OE? Mine did this about a month after I got my truck, wouldn't rev right, low idle and would sometimes cut out. Problem was a bad Throttle Position Sensor, $20 fix.
