Need more info
I've done the search on the p0748 (pressure sol control/transmission relay circuits) code. Does anyone know why I would get this code just by dropping the pan and changing the filter, andjusting the bands, and filling the tranny. Truck is still on the jack stands in the garage. All I did was start the truck and slowly go through the gears with the brake on. I cleared the code last night and started the truck this morning and it tripped again. I'm a little confused but maybe when I adjusted the front bands could I have knocked the sensor somehow? Could it be that it as happened because I have not topped off the trans yet?

i cant answer your questions, but I can tell you one thing i do know about the 46re. thing gave me nothing but trouble on my durango. so glad i got rid of it. thing went through 2 rebuilds, and was still shady. then right after i sold it, the person that bought it told me the front seal was leaking terrible after a pretty long trip.

OK, coming from someone more skilled:
you either A) pulled the ground wire off coming from the solenoid inside the tranny so it's not grounded anymore. Sucks cause you will have to drop the pan again to check/fix. or B) pinched the wire that runs from the tranny to the PCM. If you never got the code before dropping the pan and changing fluid, it's gonna be on of the two, especially if it shifts fine...

Wonder if when torquing the band bolts outside the tranny I screwed something up by the electrical connection there.
Check the outside first then go in.

Can anyone tell me what this plug is for? Could it have anything to do with my problem? Nothing in the pan looks pinched screen wasn't plugged, but maybe I should replace the solenoid anyway. Just can't figure out where to begin. I would like to drive it to see if the trans shifts like it should. The above connector was being bumped while I was adjusting the front band but can't get the stupid thing pulled of to look at the connection.
Any more suggestions?
