yea the rest of the door is fine just on the top as show. my dad was wondering if i can sand that part with really fine sandpaper and do it myself. bc i buying paint and clear for my grill already

I did it on the bottom of my door on my old 2nd gen ram when it started to bubble. Not that hard as long as you get a good paint that matches what is already on there. If not, I would say just pay so that it matches perfectly.

bump for more opinions. does anybody know if dodge has a warranty on the paint?

I believe there is only a warranty on outer body rust through. The paint won't be covered because it is up to the owner to keep it in good condition.

and because its already been sprayed, and its not factory.. they wont cover it... that sucks to have paint like that on a 05 but hell, look at mine...lol I wanna cry everytime I look at it......
