Default Power Wagon Axles

I found a complete set of axles from an 05 Power Wagon for $1800 bucks. I have plans to install lockers and 456 gears so would this be a good idea? Is the OEM stuff in these axles any good? will the E-lockers work without the computer or are they just like the after market ones. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks...

Ya I'm pretty sure they would be a direct bolt on. I'm just wandering if the lockers could be wired direct. I know that the front locker works when you engage 4 low, so do you need the computer for the locker to engage or can you just install a switch and lock it yourself. And what is the voltage required to lock them up? Who makes the locker? Did Dodge make it or did they have an aftermarket company make it for them? Pretty much what I'm getting at is would it be worth buying the axles and bolting them on or can I find better stuff than the OEM gear cheaper???

the stock OEM stuff in the power wagon is gonna be pretty stout...i do believe the lockers in the PW are made by Eaton, but i could be wrong...not 100% sure....not too sure about the voltage required to lock them, but i wanna say it's a 5V signal but i could be wrong with that too....never worked with PW too much

Buy them!!! I can not find lockers for the AAM axels in my 2500. Being stock you know they must be stout. Chrysler hates paying out warranty $$$.

Jump on it! I believe they are Eaton lockers, so you should not have a serious problem getting them to work, just a matter of finding where to pick up signal for engagement. Hell, I bet you could even install a lock/unlock switch in the cab if it's just a matter of getting signal and juice to them.
Sounds like a great project to me...
